The goal of this project was to train creative thinking every day (and of course promote myself as a designer :)
I made 100 logos in 100 days. The only rule was that I didn't spend more than 100 minutes on each logo (that doesn't include thinking about the logo). The logos were made fast, sometimes rough, sometimes even drawn on paper or palm of my hand.
Logo themes vary. Whatever came to my mind - I made it into logo. Some logos might be more of an illustration rather than standard logo, and some might not be full professional logos with every aspect well thought, but I allowed myself this freedom. Bare in mind that I had only 100 minutes to produce (I hope) an interesting logo. Idea is what counts here more than realization, I think.
Some logos will be specific for my country (Croatia) and in my language. I will try to explain every logo the best I can so you could understand the concept.
You will see a lot of Westie logos. I love West Highland terriers and I have one for my friend. He is my constant inspiration. Unwritten rule was that I made every 10th logo (or so) with a Westie as a theme :)

The idea came to me while I was doing a photo shoot for another band. I pulled the tape out of the casinsg and formed a ball with it. When I picked it up, the shape of it reminded me of a jellyfish with all the tentacles hanging down.

When doing these logos you have to understand that I am racing against the clock. I have 100 min. to come up with the logo design. That's not a hard part. Hard part is coming up with an idea, a concept. And I have 24 hours in a day to do so. Most of the logos are done near the end of a day so by midnight I have to come up with a brand new logo. Sometimes that's hard, especially if you had a rough day and can't think strtaight. So the brain isn't functioning at full capacity and it's a mess. I didn't have any other idea for this day so I made a logo depicting how I feel sometimes when designing these logos.

My friend DJ Ludwa has a beard that reminded me of an Assyrian statue of human-headed winged bull known as Lamassu. I traced the statue and in the end there was more resemblance to my friend in the face than I first imagined.

My friend DJ Ludwa has a beard that reminded me of an Assyrian statue of human-headed winged bull known as Lamassu. I traced the statue and in the end there was more resemblance to my friend in the face than I first imagined.

I just wanted to remind people to be thankful for their lives. Especially on the New Year's eve when everybody is stuffing their faces with food and booze. Some people around the world are hungry and thirsty... and yet we are so spoiled and we take everything for granted...

"Carter’s winning photo shows a heart-breaking scene of a starving child collapsed on the ground, struggling to get to a food center during a famine in the Sudan in 1993. In the background, a vulture stalks the emaciated child.
